Changes:

- [Functional] Added a floating Tag Cloud window that shows the Tags that exist within the current View in the File Browser

- [Functional] 'Add Files' no longer pauses when App is minimised.

- [Functional] App no longer steals focus during 'Add Files' function

- [Functional] Storage Devices can now be given 'friendly names' so that you don't have to worry about what a disk calls itself - use the name you know it by instead. Especially useful for CD's and data DVD's.

Changes:

- Functional: Can now rate files 'on-the-fly' when in full-screen playback via 1,2,3,4,5 keys

- Functional: Added Storage Devices to the Library Tree

- Functional: Added the ability to enable and disable menu items that relate to External Apps

- Functional: Increased the number of possible External App configurations to 30

- Functional: Tags, Searches, Formats, Storage Devices and Ratings are now all interchangeable when dragging and dropping from the Library Tree; searching has become even more powerful since they can now be mixed and matched to find, append, filter in and filter out.

- Interface: View Specification is now displayed graphically in the File Browser's drop-down list

- Interface: 'Files' menu re-named to 'Browser' and Refresh/Back/Forward moved from View menu to Browser menu

- Interface: Library files now have their own icon!

- Interface: Renamed menu 'Export Selection to CSV file' to 'Export View data to CSV file'

- Technical: Redesigned the way that Views and Searches are processed and stored; Views & Searches created in previous versions will require to be re-created as they will be broken I'm afraid!

- Technical: Ratings moved from the VideoSegments table to the VideoFiles table

- Technical: Storage Devices that aren't referred to are now de-referenced during library housekeeping



6th Apr 2009; Version Beta 1.0.4 Available

Changes:

- In certain situations, a file would appear to be selected in the file Browser when it actually wasn't. This occurred upon exiting a Playlist. Fixed.

- Added 'File Format' and 'Rating' to the Library Tree

- Delete multiple files wasn't working - probably became broken ages ago (don't know which version!). Fixed.

- Enumeration of drives was not working correctly for 'Add Files' function. Fixed.

- Results automatically refresh upon drive add/remove and media change (CD/DVD Insert/Eject)

- Disabled 'Move Files' function as it is not stable (should have done this ages ago!)



22nd Mar 2009; Version Beta 1.0.3 Available

Changes:

- 'Add Files' function had stopped using the 'No Thumbnail' image when 'Collect file Details only' option was set. Fixed.

- File Posters (and the saved jpgs) were being truncated when the poster size would not fit on the screen. Fixed and added a viewport with scrollbars

- Added a menu to the File Poster form so that the user can regenerate the poster with new settings - work in progress...



2nd Feb 2009; Version Beta 1.0.2 Available

Changes:
- Now stores the container format (AVI, Windows Media, MPG, etc) in the Library rather than just displaying it in the Inspector.
(Note that Libraries created prior to this version will not contain this data, for any given file, until that file is next opened in the Inspector)

- Now displays the container format in the File Browser when in List View

- fixed overflow errors which would occur after 24.85 days of Windows up-time (GetTickCount API)

- Added the ability to select which columns display in List View
