The NEW version of VP II 1.4.0 is out.
Many allready tested it and use it everyday.

You can let the developers know whats your feeling about this new version compared to the old 1.3.

First of all, thank you so much for supplying such useful program, I do appreciate it. There's nothing to complain except I don't really fond of some high profile font (Galactica?) here and there, but it's minor and very personal. I just wonder how to solve unsupported codecs how can I add them up to the program so all preview will be available. :D

Here's another thing. I can't seem to fine metadata editor, is it true or I'm just unable to utilize available feature. I am currently using another freeware which seemed to be unnecessary.

Which file formats are you having problems with? VP2 can play anything for which a DirectShow filter is available (i.e. everything). Do you have the CCCP codec pack installed? That covers most formats...

Let me know which freeware program you are using and, also, which metadata are you referring to? Are you talking about data held inside the video file itself?

Hi strombringer ! welcome and thank you for the feedback.
We love to hear how users experiance the use of VP.
As we have our systems highly optimised for video processing and stuff, we dont realy know how other users are experiancing the install and use of VP.

Ill open a topic about the codec problems.
If some video files do not play or get a screenshot grabbed, it is for 99,99% sure a codec missing or codec problem.

About the huge fonts, -- no comment -- :) hahaha im not a huge fan of big fonts either, but in time these cosmetical things will improve over time.
The functionality comes first now.

Thank you for the feedback, please give us more ;)
