I think a toolbar would be handy for easy and fast access to basic functions like load lib, save lib, ...

The icons on the bottom (list view, tiles view) can then make place for other future ones.

Moreover it would be great if the toolbar is customisable and or can be completely hidden (for those that want to maximize desktopspace use)

Yes, I have been thinking about this. My thoughts are that a toolbar beneath the main menus would be useful, and should be configurable too, like you suggest.

But I kind of like the toolbar that appears below the File Browser as it is. All the buttons that are on it are relevant to that area and it makes no sense to add un-related icons to it. I do agree, that perhaps some of the icons could be replaced by the user with others that they use more frequently....

Added to my to-do list....

Done. This will be included in the next version, which will be Version 1.2.0 Beta as this represents a fairly significant change (though it wasn't a geat deal of work!)
